The cottage is just simply amazing. The location is ideal especially if someone is without a car. The bus from Kolari railway station drops off at walking distance, the cross country skiing tracks, the local supermarket and some nice restaurants are also very close. The fireplace and the couch gives a very relaxed atmosphere, and the well-equipped kitchen means that cooking is also easy. A big extra point for the cleaning team, the place was very tidy! The sauna is indeed not very hot but it still feels very good after a long day of skiing. One needs to be careful on the stairs too. The cottage itself would certainly worth full 5 stars. The only reason for deducting one is that communication with the caretaker was far from smooth: we got no replies to our e-mail inquires (not even in Finnish), when agreeing about how to get/return the keys we were promised two times to get contacted but it was always us in the end who needed to ask for instructions. Note that the key-service is located in the ski-center in Ylläs, approx 4km away from the Ravintolakeskus in Ylläs.
